Bustin’ Loose.

Three-and-a-half more (loooong) hours and I am bustin’ loose from work for FOUR DAYS. That equals ninety-six hours of not thinking about trades or funds or trust accounts – oh, pure bliss… thy name is PaidTimeOff. Because if you know anything about me, you know that I get complete and total satisfaction from my day job of making rich people a little richer each and every day. *smirk* Big ‘ole warm fuzzies.

Yep. What can I say? They keep paying me, so I keep showing up.

So, here is what our ultra-wonderful-no-work-long-weekend looks like :
Thursday – Brad and I are renting a steam cleaner and will be washing all of our carpets and upholstery. Because that is what old people do when they take time off. Clean their upholstery.
And we are old.

Friday – Making my sister get up at the butt-crack of dawn so she can join our troop for the day and head over to the MN State Fair. Brad and I like to get there before everything opens. Why? I haven’t quite figured it out. But, that is what we do.
Probably because we are old.

Saturday – An ‘unplanned day’, which will inevitably get totally jammed packed planned. It is our buffer day for all those things we need/want to get done. Brad will probably go on a motorcycle ride. There will probably be some swimming at the YMCA to appease the Little One somewhere in there. Possibly some house cleaning.

Sunday – I am abandoning the family for a few luscious hours and visiting two of my most very favorite ladies ever, because it has literally been six months since we’ve seen each other. And even then, our entire families were in tow, so I definitely did not get to sit and chat. There will be some serious catching up to do. Be prepared for some fast talking and interrogation like questions, ladies. I need to get back in the loop of your lives!

Monday – Yikes. Back to work. But, what would the rich people do without me? (think happy thoughts... think happy thoughts...)

I you are lucky, I’ll post pictures of our Thursday cleaning extravaganza.

Peace.
