Inaugural Post

For those of you who know me through ' hope you don't hate the cold ' - hello old friend! I am not trying to abandon hydhtc... I just... well, I have other interests, too. (It took me about a year of settling into motherhood to remember this, but it is slowly coming back ♥) The journey of bringing home our spunky little daughter from Ethiopia was indeed a blog worthy experience - a blog I thought I would give up once Tesfanesh was home. But she has been home for over a year - and I still have the urge to write. Turns out, I quite like it. Plus, I have recently rediscovered my love of photography, and I just don't want to muck up hydhtc with my general musings and random pictures of my toes. It was too big of an experience to me - so I've decided that blog cannot evolve, instead, I needed to move on.

Therefore, the new blog.

Oh - and if not, feel free to tell me so. I cannot reach through the computer screen to hit you, and gas is far too expensive to hunt you down and find where you live, so you are probably pretty safe.
